Exceeded Expectations!
I saw a spectacular concert and expected a great one. Their albums, and in their videos, they sound wonderful as they do on the radio. Their energy level looked like it could have been their first show after a long rest, but this was their 3rd concert in 3 nights on the 3rd week of tour. They seemed genuinely excited to be there, and it was contagious. I did not expect to spend the entire concert on my feet dancing and singing, but I did, as did almost everyone else. The audience reactions were deafening at times. Everything they had, I never thought the band wasn't giving us. On time, everything was, even The Outsiders came out a couple of minutes early. I feared the choreo would detract from the magic they do with their voices, but it didn't. There was a great mix of old favorites with new album songs. I wouldn't have wanted them to leave out anything they did to include Ref, First Things First, or To The River, but I was sad not to hear those.
